Dear Dr. Manchester,
Now I know why my brother thinks you walk on water! You are from the “Old School” of caring doctors, you’re a saint, a very dear person and an all around nice guy.
Can you tell that I appreciated your kidness and generosity? Saying thank you seems so totally inadequate. I hope you will give yourself a pat on the back, and smile with a sense of satisfaction at having done something really above and beyond the call of duty for someone you hardly know.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart (and my left leg that’s being perfectly squeezed by a compression stocking). When I see Dr. Garrigues on Tuesday, I will give him your regards – and I’ll tell him what a great doctor/person you are.
P.S. Please convey my heartfelt thanks too your receptionist for working me into the schedule today.
